• don’t convert vector data in pixel data
• image data needs to be TIFF-format (CMYK)
• we only work with PDF/X-3 data

Image

• scripts, icon & image data needs to be embedded or have to be changed in paths
• 4/4-colour CMYK (in Euroskale // profil: ISOcoated_v2_bas.ICC) or custom colours (HKS or Pantone will be change in CMYK)
• offset products with custom colours are possible separate agreement
• no transparencies, no layers
• the trim size and bleed needs to be defined correctly
• data in scale of 1:10

Frequent mistakes & avoiding errors

• white was lay out overprinted (white font on background won’t be avoided)
• black was not lay out overprinted (e.g.: font on background – no background under the font,
  otherwise it might affect flashes after printing)
• to lay out black correctly -> for big black surfaces and black headings use the values 60% cyan, 50% magenta, 45% yellow, 100% black

Image resolution

• approx. 80 dpi (more than 100 cm viewing distance)

Data transfer

Name the print data with a clear project related name including the day of event as well as the clients name.

• upt to 20 MB via E-Mail (ZIP files can be shared too)
• more than 50 MB via FTP, Dropbox or WeTransfer

Bleed

• add 1 cm all-round the trim size including crop marks of 1 cm

Safe area

• 4 cm between trim size and content frame
• Eyelets centre to trim side – 2,5 cm
• only background colour, no content or images
